Montena Lighting was founded in 1903 in Fribourg/Switzerland as a manufacturer of capacitors under the name of “Schweizer Glühlampenfabrik” (FALMA). We have over 80 years of experience in the field of lighting.

From the start of the company until 2007, complete light bulb production lines were developed and supplied to companies including OSRAM, PHILIPS, SYLVANIA and GENERAL ELECTRIC.

Since 2007, MONTENA has worked together with partners in China to produce high quality LOW ENERGY BULBS, HALOGEN BULBS, LED BULBS as well as standard INCANDESCENT BULBS.

Additionally renowned customers have their OEM products manufactured in our factories. We produce private labels for leading retailers.
